Naylor Concrete recently supplied Verti-Block retaining wall units for two Ministry of Defence projects in the North of England, providing an efficient precast solution for new retaining structures within secure facilities. 

Designed to retain changes in ground level while maximising usable space, Verti-Block was selected for its combination of structural performance, rapid installation and attractive textured finish. 

Working alongside the project team, Naylor provided engineered wall layouts and technical support to ensure the retaining walls could be constructed efficiently using the modular precast system. The supplied design incorporated stepped wall sections and corner details to suit the site requirements. 

As with all Ministry of Defence projects, confidentiality is paramount, so details of the locations remain undisclosed. However, the completed installations demonstrate how Verti-Block continues to provide a reliable retaining wall solution for demanding infrastructure environments where durability, speed of construction and long-term performance are essential.
