Naylor Concrete Products has expanded its sales and marketing team with the recruitment of three additional team members : Nicky Phillips who joins as Business Development Manager for the South; Billy Fairhurst who has been appointed as Naylor Concrete’s National Precast Manager (Sales), and Amy Thompson, who becomes the company’s first Senior Marketing Executive.
Nicky has more than 17 years’ experience of construction sales and has worked for both manufacturers and merchants in the sector including Keyline, Burdens, Lafarge and Cemex. Prior to joining Naylor Concrete, she was a Business Development Manager for SIG. With a focus on offering solutions to suit project and customer-specific requirements, Nicky will be working closely with Naylor Concrete customers, new and old, and seeking to grow the company’s lintel business in the south of the UK.
As Naylor Concrete’s National Precast Manager, Billy will be focussing on the promotion of Naylor precast concrete products within infrastructure builds with a particular focus on the provision and supply of off-site solutions which enable clients to lower full installation costs and reduce environmental impact. He brings more than 30 years’ experience of working in construction infrastructure and with clients in the water, power, telecoms, rail and highways markets. Previously responsible for technical sales at Casting Services, Billy has worked on numerous high profile projects including the London Olympics 2012, the construction of the new jetty at Portsmouth for the M.O.D. and the Elan Valley aqueduct project at Bleddfa for Severn Trent.
With a brief to manage marketing for Naylor Concrete and provide support to sister business Naylor Specialist Plastics, Amy is a marketing and content specialist with more than eight years’ experience which includes managing content generation, copywriting, SEO, product launches, digital marketing and social media, google advertising and television and affiliate marketing. As Senior Marketing Executive, she will be responsible for every aspect of Naylor Concrete’s marketing activities including literature production, exhibitions, email campaigns, social and paid for online activity, the Naylor Concrete and Security Fencing websites, product launches and blog copywriting. She will also work closely with the team at Naylor Plastics to support its marketing activities.
