Fire Rated Lintels

We offer three different ranges of pre-stressed concrete lintel products which meet updated Building Regs for the protection of structural elements of concrete. We also provide CPD accredited training to help customers get their specifications right.

Our three ranges comprise: XtraFire™ which is available in sections of 100mm, 140mm and 215mm; Fire-Spec which is available in sections of 140mm, 190mm and 215mm, and Faced Fire which is available in sections of 140mm, 190mm and 215mm wide but with a smooth type C finish.  All of our prestressed concrete lintels are available in a range of fire ratings, please refer to individual product pages for specific information.

Applications include:

  • A wide range of commercial and domestic buildings
  • Our fire rated lintels are suitable for use in any residential and commercial application where lintels are required to protect the structural integrity of the building and enable the safe evacuation of its occupants.

Testing

Naylor XtraFire™ lintels have been independently fire tested by Exova Warrington Fire.

  • Offer extra fire resistance over standard concrete lintels
  • All sections (including XtraFire™) can be cut to length on site, providing a distinct advantage over other methods of manufacture
  • Meet the requirements of the Construction Products Regulations in relation to the Declarations of Performance and UKCA marking
  • Manufactured, quality controlled and continually assessed to ensure compliance with BS EN ISO 9001:2015

  • Smooth ex-steel mould finish

  • Can be exposed to cyclic wetting/drying
  • Cement replacement technology is used which requires less than 20% of the energy and produces less than 10% of the CO2 emissions compared to Portland cement production.
